From a home kitchen to full celebrations

Priya Lohia grew up in Siliguri in a business family, where every challenge was treated as a new opportunity. Watching her parents work with heart, she always knew she would build something of her own.

She started from her kitchen, baking cakes and curating hampers with her sister and mother. Delivering them to events, one question kept coming back: if she could make moments sweeter, why not create the entire celebration? On 25 June 2017, with the backing of family and friends, she took the leap and started The New Innings Planner.

She began small, with birthdays and home decor, and planned her first wedding in December 2018. It wasn't grand, but it was honest and heartfelt. Since then she has built a name for events that carry passion, originality and purpose, and she still leads every one herself, from the first colour board to the vidaai.

Today the studio plans complete weddings and every function around them, at venues like Sinclairs Siliguri, Mayfair Tea Resort, Fortune Select Siliguri, The Cindrella Hotel and Hotel Mechi Crown, with an itemized quote and no change to the bill without your approval.
